Customer Care - Quality Control Coordinator

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED required; a college, trade, or technical diploma in project management, carpentry, trades, operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction, project coordination, quality control, warranty service, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating schedules, tracking deficiencies, and working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Experience using project management, construction management, or deficiency tracking software, such as Autodesk.
• Trade certification or specialty trade experience, residential high-rise or multi-family development experience, and experience managing project schedules or construction workflows are considered assets.
• Experience with BC New Home Warranty processes and residential possession activities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of residential construction and finishing practices, deficiency tracking, quality control processes, and project scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, prioritization, multitasking, attention to detail, problem solving, accountability, and follow-through.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites and in buildings prior to completion, including walking, stair access, reviewing and documenting deficiencies, completing physical repairs where appropriate, and using PPE.

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

• Annual Base Salary: The expected salary range for this role is $62,000 - $70,000 per annum. Actual offered salary will depend on individual experience, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
