Wesgroup is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Quality Control Representative to join our Customer Care team in a one-year fixed term position. In this hands-on role, you will support the quality control process for new buildings, homeowner orientations, warranty service, and coordinated repairs while helping ensure every home is delivered to Wesgroup quality standards.
Working closely with homeowners, trades, Construction, Sales, Property Management, and internal Customer Care partners, you will inspect homes, document and track deficiencies, coordinate service activity, complete minor repairs where appropriate, and help create a positive customer experience throughout the possession and warranty lifecycle.
Contribute to the quality control process for new building completion by inspecting homes, common areas, and amenity spaces to identify deficiencies that do not meet Wesgroup quality standards.
Document deficiencies using applicable software systems, distribute reports to trade partners, and monitor completion to ensure repairs are completed within established timelines.
Collaborate with Construction, Customer Care team members, and trade partners to prioritize work, address quality concerns, communicate progress, and support project completion milestones.
Coordinate and address warranty-related service requests within occupied homes, including scheduled appointments, concern assessment, documentation, work order tracking, and customer communication.
Complete minor repairs where appropriate and coordinate with trade partners for deficiencies requiring specialized expertise, maintaining accountability for service timelines and repair follow-through.
Represent Wesgroup professionally during homeowner orientations, warranty appointments, inspections, and customer interactions while educating homeowners on home operation, maintenance requirements, and warranty processes.
Build and maintain working knowledge of building systems, project-specific design details, construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, residential construction standards, and BC New Home Warranty requirements.
Support project completion activities, special assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives by sharing observations, lessons learned, and opportunities to improve service delivery.
