Join the Culinary & Retail Development team as a Culinary Development Chef - Savoury in the UAE.
Create, test, cost, and document contemporary Australasian-influenced savoury dishes for company-owned and franchised markets.
Develop commercially viable recipes that can be reproduced consistently by approved suppliers, the central production unit, and individual stores.
Key responsibilities
- Research and develop original dishes across breakfast, brunch, soups, salads, sandwiches, mains, sides, sauces, dressings, deli, and seasonal menus.
- Test and refine recipes for flavour, presentation, portioning, and brand relevance.
- Cost recipes and establish portions, yields, and food-cost targets.
- Balance ingredient quality with availability, production efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Prepare recipes, specifications, and practical training materials.
- Adapt recipes for different equipment, production volumes, and operational capabilities.
- Support tastings, product validations, training sessions, and menu rollouts.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Marketing, suppliers, the central production unit, and store teams.
- Research food trends and maintain a pipeline of relevant menu ideas.
- Review sales, feedback, and operational performance after launch and improve recipes where required.
