Supervise the hotel’s Credit and Accounts Receivable function.
Ensure accurate billing, timely collection of outstanding balances, credit control, and compliance with financial controls.
Work with Finance and operational departments while maintaining professional relationships with business partners.
Credit Control and Accounts Receivable
- Supervise daily Credit and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Ensure credit accounts have complete documentation, approvals, limits, and payment terms.
- Review new credit applications and monitor credit limits and payment terms.
- Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Conduct collection follow-up with companies, travel agents, government entities, groups, and other debtors.
- Escalate overdue or high-risk accounts and support DSO and bad-debt control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Previous Credit, Accounts Receivable, or Hotel Finance experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of credit control, accounts receivable, and financial procedures.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
- SOCPA certification or membership is preferred.
- International hotel supervisory experience and Opera PMS experience are advantageous.
