About the Role

- Work in onshore workshop to disassemble, inspect, and overhaul crane components
- Lead mechanical overhaul of crane components
- Conduct thorough inspections of crane parts
- Assemble and test crane components after overhaul
- Ensure proper documentation of all work performed in workshop
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment in workshop
- Assist in management of spare parts inventory

- Experience in offshore crane mechanical maintenance and repair
- Ability to work offshore and in workshop environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- 3 6 years of relevant experience

The Role
- Ad Hoc Crane Maintenance Mechanical Technician responsible for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of offshore crane mechanical systems.
- Role involves both offshore platform work and onshore workshop duties.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs on offshore cranes, winches, hoists, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on cranes, identifying faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Assist in disassembly and assembly of crane components offshore, including gearboxes, hoists, brakes, drums, and hydraulic systems.
- Support the Offshore Crane Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring 5 Yearly Major Maintenance Overhauls are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all offshore maintenance work, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts used.
- Collaborate with offshore personnel to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Work in onshore workshop to disassemble, inspect, and overhaul critical crane mechanical components.
- Lead the mechanical overhaul of crane components, ensuring parts are refurbished, repaired, or replaced.
- Conduct thorough inspections of crane parts, identifying wear, damage, or potential failure points.
- Assemble and test crane components after overhauling to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation of all work performed in the workshop.
