Overview Of The Role

  • Join Al Futtaim Automotive as a Cost Clerk – Toyota Al Badia and play a key role in supporting our aftersales operations through accurate costing, invoicing, and administration of workshop repairs.
  • This position is essential to ensuring that all workshop activities are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting revenue generation, operational excellence, and compliance with Toyota and company standards.
  • You will work closely with service and workshop teams to maintain the integrity of repair data, job costing, and invoicing processes.

What You Will Do

  • Review, verify, and process completed job cards in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure productive labor hours, consumables, parts, and repair codes are correctly allocated and invoiced.
  • Support workshop operations by maintaining accurate costing records and minimizing lost productive hours.
  • Ensure all job cards comply with distributor and manufacturer operational standards.
  • Monitor work in progress (WIP) and support the timely closure of repairs.
  • Escalate outstanding or non costed repairs as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements through SAP and other business systems.
  • Collaborate with service and workshop teams to ensure smooth aftersales operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills To Be Successful

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive workshop processes and job costing principles.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • SAP knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment.

What Equips You For The Role

  • High School, College, or University education.
  • Automotive qualification or Government/National Trade Certificate in Mechanical Automotive Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive administration, reception, or costing role.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and workshop operations.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Excel and Word.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Experience working with SAP Dealer Systems is an advantage.
  • A customer focused mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
