Job Purpose

  • Overseeing and managing the financial aspects. Ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementation of effective financial policies and procedures.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Manage accounts, budgets, and financial activities of operations divisions.
  • Direct and coordinate planning and preparation of annual and long term capital and operating budgets.
  • Manage functional counterparts on cost determination, inventory valuation, cost center labor rates, and overhead distribution.
  • Manage fixed asset records and depreciation accounts; provide guidance on capitalization/expensing.
  • Participate in long range financial forecasts and budgets; perform variance analysis.
  • Supervise preparation of annual financial statements for Support Services Division.
  • Ensure data collection procedures for master data are implemented and updated.
  • Monitor financial performance versus budgets and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on charge back, recoveries, deficits, service charges.
  • Supervise deployment of accounting programs per standard procedures.
  • Prepare final accounts and financial status reports at year end.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance or any relevant field.
  • 6 to 10 Years of work experience.
  • Technical/Functional Competencies: Accounting Theory/Concepts, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, Cost Control.
