Contracts Division Manager

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Provide strategic leadership for project contracting, ITT issuance, EPC contract execution, and services change-work-order administration.
• Oversee ITT packages and the end-to-end tendering process for commercial integrity, market competitiveness, and governance compliance.
• Establish contract strategies and govern EPC documentation for complete scope definition, balanced risk allocation, and project alignment.
• Evaluate contractor technical and commercial submissions and advise senior management and shareholders on commercial exposure and award recommendations.
• Govern contract administration, including changes, payments, claims, securities, amendments, and final closeout.
• Lead negotiations on contractor changes and commercial adjustments to protect project cost and schedule commitments.
• Manage contractual disputes and formal commercial correspondence to preserve contractual rights and reduce financial exposure.
• Protect commercial interests through oversight of the contractual environment and proactive risk mitigation.
• Develop contracts-function capability through mentoring, competency development, and continuous improvement.
• Champion performance in safety, quality, cost, schedule, and commercial stewardship.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or engineering is required.

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 12 years of experience across project management, engineering, construction, and procurement functions within the oil and gas industry is required.
• At least 3 years of project management leadership experience on a major oil and gas project is required.
• Experience in business management, risk management, project controls, cost development, schedule development, tender preparation, and contract management is required.
• Expertise in contract lifecycle management, EPC contracting, and procurement strategy development is required.
• Expertise in commercial risk, stakeholder governance, vendor governance, claims, disputes, and change management is required.
• Commercial acumen, strategic contracting leadership, cross-functional stakeholder management, and major-project commercial stewardship are required.
