Opportunity Overview

Contract Governance and Portfolio Oversight

• Oversee the Project Company's contract management framework and contractual performance across major infrastructure projects.
• Ensure sponsor and shareholder protections through proactive risk monitoring, governance, and escalation.
• Review and challenge EPC contractor claims and dispute strategies to protect the owner's commercial and contractual interests.
• Prepare governance reporting and provide contractual advice and decision support to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Interim Owner Contract Manager

• Act as interim Project Company Contract Manager on the owner's side with significant autonomy and seniority.
• Manage contractual notices, correspondence, claims, interfaces, obligations, and contractual records.
• Support dispute resolution and operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure project environments.

Business and Project Development

• Review EPC term sheets and key contractual documentation for project development.
• Assess contractual risk allocation and project bankability across EPC and PPA or WPA agreements.
• Evaluate liquidated damages, force majeure, excusable delay, interface, and performance risk provisions.
• Lead or significantly contribute to project and business development from a contracts and delivery perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, law, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of contract management experience on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong recent experience administering EPC contracts across the full project lifecycle.
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
• Strong understanding of contractual risk allocation and commercial governance.
• Experience supporting executive-level decision-making and governance reporting.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience representing an owner, developer, sponsor, or project company is highly preferred.
• Preferred sectors include power generation, utilities, renewable energy, transmission and distribution, major infrastructure, and EPC projects.
