About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support the administration and management of project contracts in accordance with contractual requirements and governance procedures.
- Assist in the interpretation and application of FIDIC contract provisions and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate and up to date contract records, correspondence, registers, and documentation.
- Support the preparation and review of variations, claims, extension of time submissions, contractual notices, and change requests.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure compliance by all parties.
- Assist in identifying contractual and commercial risks and support mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with commercial, legal, engineering, and project delivery teams on contract related matters.
- Support the preparation of commercial reports, contract status updates, and management summaries.
- Ensure adherence to project procedures, contractual processes, and corporate governance requirements.
- Support audits and maintain proper filing and traceability of contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in contract administration, quantity surveying, or commercial management on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on rail, metro, transportation, or other large scale infrastructure developments.
- Strong understanding of contract administration principles, commercial management processes, and contractual compliance.
- Working knowledge and practical experience administering FIDIC contracts.
- Experience supporting the assessment and administration of variations, claims, extension of time submissions, and contractual notices.
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen with the ability to interpret contract provisions and identify contractual risks.
- Experience working on complex, high value infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Contracts Administrator to support the contract and commercial management functions on major rail and infrastructure projects.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective contract administration, contractual compliance, and commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- This position requires strong Quantity Surveying and contract administration experience, including practical knowledge of FIDIC forms of contract within large scale design and construction environments.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial principles and have experience supporting the management of variations, claims, change control, and contractual risk on complex infrastructure projects.
