About the Teaching and Learning Centre of Innovation
The Teaching and Learning Centre of Innovation (TLCI) at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology serves students, faculty and staff in the following areas: Accessibility Services and Student Academic Support, Learning Commons (including the Library and Service Desk), Educational Development (including program and curriculum support, instructional support, professional development, Work Integrated Learning academic support, and Research and Scholarly Activity), Moodle and Google training and support, The Studio video production services, and the MakerSpace.
The Opportunity - Contract Tutor for 2026/27 Academic Year
Contract opportunities are available for individuals to provide tutorial assistance to students enrolled in various Olds College programs, especially the areas of expertise listed below (2-10 hours per week).
Contract length may be short-term or for the academic year.
Tutors must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Tutors may be assigned hours for face-to-face tutoring funded through the Accessibility Office (students with registered disabilities).
will include providing assistance to support the student’s learning and studying.
Students arrange tutor sessions directly with each tutor and are overseen by the Accessibility Services Specialist.
Tutors with academic background and/or industry experience for the program offered at Olds College are in demand at various periods of the academic year.
Successful candidates should have post-secondary education and previous experience teaching/tutoring in one or more of the above areas of study.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate is dynamic and empathetic, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the willingness to work as a member of a team.
Previous experience working with students who have learning difficulties is an asset, but is not required.
