Role Overview

  • The Project Manager, Continuous Improvement leads CI initiatives across Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi through four pillars: Projects, Awareness Initiatives, Training, and Coaching.
  • This role fosters a culture of sustainable improvement by embedding a continuous improvement methodology and framework.

Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Lead CI projects using the CCAD Improvement Model to improve clinical and operational processes, efficiencies, cost, and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor CI projects via internal governance controls to manage impact, objectives, dependencies, and risks.
  • Develop process maps for highly complex processes by breaking them down into sub processes, business functions, and tasks.
  • Utilize statistical tools to support problem solving in process measures, financial metrics, scheduling, resource utilization, labor, productivity, quality, patient satisfaction, and wait times.
  • Develop and track metrics improvement through reports and dashboards to communicate objectives to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Create presentations that distill analytical findings and recommendations to CI project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with all levels of caregivers from leadership to front line personnel.
  • Complete post CI project analysis to ensure successful delivery and identify improvements for future projects.

Continuous Improvement Awareness Initiatives

  • Lead CI workshops to introduce CI concepts to caregivers and raise awareness.
  • Utilize workshops to collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities and potential improvement initiatives.
  • Complete post workshop analysis to ensure successful delivery and identify improvements.

Continuous Improvement Training

  • Develop and deliver training that educates caregivers on CI concepts leading to identification, development, and implementation of improvements.
  • Develop training materials and effectively deliver training to ensure caregivers are trained in CI concepts and methodology.
  • Evaluate the performance and ability of caregivers to understand and apply CI tools and principles.

Continuous Improvement Coaching

  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to caregivers who complete CI training to drive improvements and transformation in their departments.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of four years of continuous improvement experience leading projects is required.
