- Prepare, facilitate, and document requirements and validation sessions independently or with minimal supervision.
- Work closely with clinical operations to obtain and document clinical workflows and processes.
- Provide site support, training, and informatics support as required.
- Resolve incidents and complete operational and enhancement requests independently.
- Follow IT change control process and present changes in appropriate change control boards.
- Support and develop Analyst level 1 to foster their development.
- Contribute to ongoing clinical application projects by working on project tasks assigned.
- Support senior analyst in project scoping, effort estimation, and provide subject matter expertise for workflow designs.
- Obtain thorough understanding of IT clinical applications to analyze, design, build/configure and validate.
- Implement and provide ongoing maintenance for IT clinical applications.
- Provide end user support for technical and workflow issues, new functionality implementation, and system upgrades.
- Participate in training caregivers on the use of Clinical Applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or clinical degree (nursing, pharmacy, medicine, dentistry)
- Epic Optime and Anesthesia certification required
- 4 years of Epic Optime and Anesthesia implementation experience
- Prior experience in device integration
- Prior work experience in client place for Go Live and post Go Live support
- Epic Inpatient Orders certification preferred
- Prior working experience in developing moderate to complex smart forms preferred
- Prior work experience in Epic user security and access provisioning preferred

About the Role
- The Application Analyst, Level II, will be certified in Epic Optime and Anesthesia module and have 4 years of implementation experience in Epic Optime and Anesthesia.
- Working experience in Epic Inpatient Orders and Order transmittal is preferred.
- The Analyst will work closely with other Application Analysts in support of IT Clinical Applications configuration and implementation, operational support, training, and end user site support.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, facilitates, and documents requirements and validation sessions independently or with minimal supervision.
- Works closely with clinical operations to obtain and document clinical workflows and processes.
- Provides the needed site support, training and informatics support as required.
- Adheres to the governance using data to help manage their own performance.
- Provides operational support by resolving incidents, completing operational and enhancement requests independently.
- Follow the IT change control process, attend and present their changes in appropriate change control boards.
- Support and develop Analyst level 1 to foster their development.
- Contribute to ongoing clinical application projects by independently working on project tasks assigned.
- Support the senior analyst in project scoping, effort estimation for tasks and provide subject matter expertise for workflow designs.
- Support the senior analyst in sprint planning and capacity planning for delivery of enhancement requests.
- Obtains a thorough understanding of all aspects of the IT clinical applications in order to analyze, design, build/configure and validate.
- Implement and provide ongoing maintenance for all IT clinical applications under their remit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information Technology/ clinical degree in nursing, pharmacy/ Medicine/Dentistry.
Required Skills
- Prior Epic Optime and Anesthesia module Implementation experience of 4 years is required.
- Prior work experience in client place for Go Live and post Go live support.
- Prior experience in device integration is required.
- Prior work experience in Epic user security and access provisioning is preferred.
- Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field such as Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, or Medical Technology is preferred.
- Prior working experience in developing moderate to complex smart forms is preferred.
- Prior working experience in Order transmittal is preferred.
- Certification in Epic Optime and Anesthesia is required.
- Certification in Epic Inpatient Orders is preferred.
- Certification in Epic Smart forms is preferred.
