- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders
- Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic procedures (e.g., endoscopy, biopsy, imaging coordination)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and follow up plans
- Provide consultation services to inpatient and outpatient pediatric cases
- Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Educate patients and families on disease management, nutrition, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education
- Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Completion of a recognized residency in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Valid medical license to practice
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in a tertiary care hospital)
- Strong clinical, decision making, and communication skills

Job Description
- Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman is seeking a qualified and dedicated Consultant – Pediatric Gastroenterology to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care for infants, children, and adolescents with gastrointestinal, hepatic, and nutritional disorders.
- The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient centred care in accordance with international best practices.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders
