Requirements
- Board certification or equivalent in Medical Oncology
- Experience in diagnosing and treating medical oncology conditions
- Ability to provide on call service and respond in a timely manner

Job Overview
- Responsible for diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases in Medical Oncology.
- Provides medical care in accordance with hospital bylaws and policies.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides high quality patient care in all aspects of Medical Oncology.
- Provides consultation (inpatient and emergency room) upon request.
- Responsible for timely completion, competencies, accuracy and legibility of medical records.
- Provides on call service and ensures availability within prescribed timeframe.
- Conducts daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for transfer/discharge.
- Performs any other clinical responsibilities related to the specialty as assigned.
Academic Responsibilities
- Provides orientation, bedside training and supervision to interns, residents and fellows.
- Participates in Department's educational activities and training programs.
- Partakes in national and international medical conferences.
- Maintains and enhances professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.
