About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide high quality patient care in all aspects of General & Upper GI Surgery
- Provide consultation in inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, and other patient areas
- Complete medical reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide on call service and ensure timely response
- Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge
- Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows
- Participate in departmental educational activities and training programs
- Participate in clinical, basic, and translational research projects
- Undertake administrative duties assigned by Head of Section or Chairman
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty
- Arab or American Board certificate, membership and/or fellowship status in the US and/or Canada or equivalent
- Seven (7) years of training in specialty or subspecialty plus postgraduate training experience equal to or exceeding seven years in the subspecialty

Education and Experience
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Completion of required training in specialty/subspecialty
- Arab or American Board certificate or equivalent
- Seven years of training in specialty plus postgraduate experience
