Role Overview

Construction Superintendent responsible for scaffolding assurance on onshore and offshore compression projects.

The role supports safe and effective execution of complex engineered scaffolding work.

Contract and Schedule

  • This is a long-term contract role with a 36-month duration and potential extension.
  • The working schedule is six days per week and ten hours per day.
  • The start date is negotiable, typically within one month of notice.

Workplace

  • The role is onshore and site based in Qatar, supporting onshore and offshore project scopes.
  • The position is residential.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review scaffolding scopes against governing standards, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Audit ScafTag systems and contractor scaffolding programs, training, and compliance.
  • Support contractor pre-qualification, risk assessments, site issue resolution, and personnel skills development.
  • Lead or support incident investigations and use SHE&S data to improve safety strategies.
  • Build SHE&S networks and communicate lessons learned and best practices across project teams.
  • Monitor safety campaigns and hazard management programs through field leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CISRS Level III or ECITB Advanced Level certification is required.
  • At least 12 years of diversified oil and gas operations experience is required, including five years as a senior supervisor.
  • The candidate must be able to review engineered scaffolding designs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NASC Technical Guidance TG20 is required.
  • Knowledge of LNG operating standards and procedures is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, coordination, interface, leadership, and English-language skills are required.
