Position Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive, customer focused and highly organized Community Manager to oversee the day to day management of residential and mixed use communities developed by our company.
  • The Community Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional resident experiences, maintaining community standards, coordinating with service providers, managing budgets and fostering positive relationships with homeowners, tenants, owners' associations and other stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate has strong operational, communication and problem solving skills with experience in real estate, property management, or community management.

Community Operations

  • Manage the daily operations of assigned residential and mixed use communities.
  • Ensure communities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and aesthetics.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with contractors and facility management teams.
  • Monitor compliance with community rules, regulations, and developer standards.

Resident & Customer Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, homeowners and tenants.
  • Address inquiries, complaints and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop initiatives to improve resident satisfaction and community engagement.
  • Organize community events, meetings and resident communication programs.
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive community environment.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal departments including sales, customer service, facilities management, finance, legal, and project teams.
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support the transition of newly completed developments from construction to operational management.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets.
  • Monitor operational expenditures and ensure cost effective service delivery.
  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and contractor payments.
  • Assist in preparing financial and operational reports.
  • Support service charge planning and budget forecasting where applicable.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
  • Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective action plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, Hospitality, Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in community or property management are an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license (if required).

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in community management, property management, or residential operations.
  • Experience working with a real estate developer or property management company.
  • Experience managing residential communities, mixed use developments, or master planned communities.
  • Knowledge of owners' association operations and community governance is preferred.

  • May require occasional evening or weekend work for community events or emergency situations.
