Role Overview
Long-term contract role for a major oil and gas operator.
The assignment supports a multi-billion offshore redevelopment project with greenfield and brownfield scope.
Contract duration is 36 months with potential for extension.
Location and Schedule
- The stated location is Doha headquarters with site visits.
- The project is described as offshore and the role is described as working offshore with a 29 days on and 27 days off rotation.
- The listed working schedule is five days per week for eight to nine hours per day.
- Start date is negotiable, typically within one month notice.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and produce commissioning dossiers for use offshore by the operations commissioning team.
- Be accountable for technical standards and internationally acceptable engineering practices.
- Ensure plant and equipment are commissioned effectively and safely.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience in brownfield modifications to oil and gas or similar facilities, including offshore experience.
- The majority of the experience should be in a multicultural environment.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
