About the Role
Target Engineering seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer for major EPC Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will develop commissioning plans, coordinate pre-commissioning activities, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

- Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for assigned projects
- Coordinate systemization activities and review P&IDs, SLDs, and Instrument Block Diagrams
- Participate in Mechanical Completion walkdowns and manage punch list activities through SCDB
- Perform conformity checks, pre commissioning activities, and test pack verifications
- Execute commissioning and pre start up activities including functional testing, operational testing, chemical filling, leak testing, inerting, and drying
- Prepare and submit commissioning dossiers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, contractual requirements, and quality assurance requirements
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful integration and handover of systems to operations teams
Requirements
- Minimum 6 8 years of experience in commissioning roles, preferably in oil & gas, power or heavy industrial sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering
- Hands on work experience with commissioning software such as ICAPS and HEXAGON
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of piping, electrical, control systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment
- Expertise in commissioning tools and techniques including system start up, testing, and operational readiness
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards applicable to commissioning processes

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support major EPC Oil & Gas projects.
- This role is responsible for developing commissioning plans and procedures, coordinating and supervising pre commissioning and commissioning activities, and ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and contractual requirements.

Your Role

What We're Looking For
