Job Description

  • Hilton is seeking a Commis II for the Pastry Kitchen to prepare great tasting food items and deliver memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards.
  • Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Execute complex recipes and oversee stations, execution, quality control and inventory checks.
  • Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed.
  • Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Qualifications

  • Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef's training course.
  • Previous experiences in quality establishments.
  • Good culinary skills.
  • Ability to communicate well in English.
  • Proven track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge.
