THE TEAM

  • As part of our Culinary team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, you will work alongside a passionate group of chefs dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • You will report directly to the Junior Sous Chef and collaborate closely with fellow kitchen associates to ensure smooth daily operations, high standards, and a supportive, team oriented environment.

YOUR ROLE

  • As a Commis, you will play an important role in bringing our culinary experiences to life.
  • Supporting the kitchen team, you will prepare high quality dishes while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and efficiency.
  • Through your attention to detail and commitment to excellence, you will contribute to creating memorable dining moments for our guests and support the overall success of the Culinary team.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Prepare food items in line with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Support the day to day operations of your assigned kitchen section.
  • Ensure mise en place is prepared and organized for each shift.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety at all times.
  • Handle food storage, labeling, and stock rotation correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within an international environment.
  • You have a basic understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • You are detail oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • You have a good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
  • You are comfortable communicating in English; additional languages are a plus.
