Role Overview
A healthy restaurant is seeking passionate and experienced Cooks and Chef de Parties for its growing team.
The role involves preparing high-quality food, maintaining kitchen standards, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and timely food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize food waste.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock using FIFO procedures.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining operational standards.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience as a Cook or Chef de Partie in a restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Experience with healthy cuisine is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
