Job Summary
Finisya Hospitality Solutions is seeking a motivated and hardworking Commis Chef for its kitchen team.
The ideal candidate has basic kitchen knowledge, a positive attitude, and willingness to develop culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, and other ingredients as instructed.
- Follow recipes, preparation methods, and portion standards.
- Assist with cooking and plating under senior chef supervision.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations.
- Store, label, and rotate ingredients and food products properly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
- Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies when required.
- Support the team during busy service periods.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef.
Requirements
- Previous Commis Chef or similar kitchen experience is required.
- UAE experience is required.
- Basic food preparation and kitchen operations knowledge is required.
