Kitchen Operations
- Maintain and clean work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils to required cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with colleagues regarding operational problems when necessary.
- Operate kitchen equipment correctly to support efficiency and personal safety.
- Prepare and cook food and complete plating and presentation.
- Maintain and order stocks and supplies.
Knowledge and Standards
- Know how to make different types of bread and pastry items.
- Be familiar with the operational procedures of kitchen equipment and operate equipment correctly.
- Assist with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and other regulations.
- Know the preparation method and standard recipe for every menu item in the assigned kitchen.
- Follow kitchen preparation and recipe procedures at all times.
Meetings and Development
- Participate in regular meetings and briefings as scheduled.
- Participate in scheduled training and development programs.
- Respond to changes in the food and beverage function as directed by the industry, company, or hotel.
