What you'll be doing

  • We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the Elizabeth Arden business across the Middle East Travel Retail network and the India distribution market.
  • This is a highly autonomous leadership role, reporting directly to the General Manager, with full ownership of commercial performance across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial performance of the Elizabeth Arden business across Travel Retail and the India distribution market.
  • Deliver sales, profitability, and market share objectives through strong commercial execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Team Leaders and Beauty Advisors across multiple countries.
  • Build long term relationships with key partners, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive business development by identifying new accounts and expanding distribution opportunities.
  • Maximize sell in and sell out performance through effective forecasting, commercial planning, and execution.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and implement action plans to drive continuous growth.
  • Manage distributor performance in India, ensuring strong execution, compliance, and brand representation.
  • Develop annual and monthly forecasts while working closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Product Registration teams.
  • Ensure best in class merchandising, product availability, pricing competitiveness, and brand visibility.
  • Manage trade marketing investments and distributor budgets to maximize commercial return.
  • Travel regularly across the region to support market development.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 7 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within Beauty, Cosmetics, Luxury Retail, FMCG, or Travel Retail.
  • Proven experience managing distributor markets and driving commercial growth across multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of Travel Retail and/or Duty Free environments.
  • Experience leading regional sales teams and developing high performing people.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales targets, forecasting, budgets, and P&L performance.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience negotiating with retailers, distributors, and commercial partners.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and make commercial decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into action plans.
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
