About the Role
Fairmont Dubai is seeking a Cluster Reservations Agent to provide exceptional service over the phone, converting calls into sales and managing group reservations. The ideal candidate has previous reservations experience, knowledge of Opera PMS, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Handle reservation management including managing blocks, chasing rooming lists, inventory management for groups, ensuring accurate billing instructions, and managing group rate codes.
- Maximize rooms revenue through conversion of telephone calls into sales using effective upselling techniques.
- Understand and take reservations to support revenue management strategies.
- Ensure reservations meet property standards in terms of data accuracy and guest satisfaction.
- Be fully conversant with all market segments and rate plans across distribution channels.
- Support the Cluster Reservation Manager with ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Previous reservations experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications
- Previous Opera Property Manager System experience
- Luxury hotel sales experience with varied market mix
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities
- Understand key principles of FRHI Pricing Strategies and Revenue Management.
- Handle reservation management including blocks, rooming lists, inventory, billing, and group rate codes.
- Maximize rooms revenue through telephone sales and upselling.
- Support revenue management strategies and ensure data accuracy.
- Be involved in property PMS conversions.
- Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Previous reservations experience required.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
- Previous Opera PMS experience required.
- Luxury hotel sales experience preferred.
- Proficient in English; second language an asset.
- Ability to focus on guest needs and remain calm and courteous.
- Must handle multiple tasks in an intense, ever changing environment.
