Job Summary

Candidate Profile

• A 2-year degree in human resources, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or a related major plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related major with no work experience required.
• Certified trainer status is required.

Training Programs

• Promote training programs and support employees in developing behaviors that contribute to service excellence.
• Design, develop, facilitate, and deliver custom and corporate training programs.
• Observe employee service behaviors and provide feedback to employees and managers.
• Ensure employees receive ongoing training on guest expectations and satisfaction skills.

Training Evaluation

• Monitor enrollment and attendance at training classes and meet participants to assess progress.
• Assess technical and leadership skills with operational leaders.
• Use comment cards, guest satisfaction results, and other data to identify improvement areas.
• Measure transfer of learning from training courses to operations.

Planning and Budgeting

• Identify performance gaps and develop appropriate training with managers.
• Adjust training methodology and provide retraining when appropriate.
• Align training programs with business indicators and brand values.
• Develop and manage training budgets and controllable expenses.
