Responsibilities
- Manage cloud cost optimization and financial governance for multi cloud environments
- Perform cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Design and maintain cloud cost data pipelines and executive dashboards
- Advise on cost efficient architecture patterns and commitment programs
- Drive cost accountability and value based decision making across the organization
- Translate complex cloud cost decisions into clear financial narratives for stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years of total professional experience, including 5+ years in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), cloud cost optimization, cloud operations, or financial governance roles
- Deep, hands on multi cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud
- Proven experience managing complex SaaS, consumption based, and API driven pricing models
- Strong practical application of FinOps operating models and best practices
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Strong working knowledge of software development and DevOps practices
- Clear understanding of cloud security, risk, governance, and compliance requirements within regulated environments
- Extensive experience designing, validating, and consuming cloud cost data pipelines
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) and FOCUS Analyst certification – mandatory

Overview
- We have an urgent requirement for Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) Analyst in banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Hands on multi cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud is MUST.
- Managing complex SaaS, consumption based, and API driven pricing models is MUST.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) and FOCUS Analyst certification – mandatory.
Minimum Experience
- 7+ years of total professional experience, including 5+ years in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), cloud cost optimization, cloud operations, or financial governance roles, preferably within large, regulated enterprises or banking environments.
- Deep, hands on multi cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud, with authoritative understanding of native cost and usage management tooling, cloud pricing mechanics, consumption drivers, and contractual constructs.
- Proven experience managing complex SaaS, consumption based, and API driven pricing models, including AI and productivity services, messaging and communication platforms, cloud virtual desktop and end user computing platforms.
- Strong practical application of FinOps operating models and best practices, including cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, anomaly detection, and chargeback/show back frameworks.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform services, spanning compute, storage, networking, databases, and PaaS offerings.
- Strong working knowledge of software development and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, environment strategy.
- Clear understanding of cloud security, risk, governance, and compliance requirements, particularly within regulated or banking environments.
- Extensive experience designing, validating, and consuming cloud cost data pipelines, including normalization of multi cloud billing data.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) and FOCUS Analyst certification – mandatory.
- FinOps for AI certification – preferred.
- Cloud Solutions Architect certification (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) desirable.
Technical Skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail when working with high volume, multi cloud cost and usage datasets.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership, purchase order management, shared cost allocation, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial guardrails.
- Advanced cost modelling and forecasting capabilities.
- Expertise in cloud billing data interpretation and normalization.
- Proven ability to drive behavioural change, influencing engineering, product, and business teams to adopt cost aware architectures and FinOps best practices.
