Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, clinical evaluations, and diagnostic interviews
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and psychometric assessments
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of mental health disorders using evidence based therapeutic approaches
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with DOH regulations and professional standards
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other allied healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, treatment planning, and clinical meetings
- Provide consultation, education, and psychological support to patients and their families
- Supervise and mentor junior psychologists, interns, or trainees when required
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing professional development programs
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, organizational policies, and UAE healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Doctorate (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Clinical Psychologist
- Experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or multidisciplinary healthcare settings is preferred
- Strong expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, psychometric testing, and evidence based therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills will be an added advantage)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a full clinical caseload
- Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to delivering high quality patient centered care
- Immediate joiners will be given preference

About the Role
