Role Overview
A healthcare team in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Clinical Receptionist.
The role manages reception, patient appointments, registration, communications, and administrative coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients professionally and courteously.
- Register patients, maintain records, and manage check-in and check-out.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Handle phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and patient inquiries.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Process billing, payments, and basic insurance documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and prepare administrative reports.
- Keep the reception area organized and support daily clinic administration.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical or Medical Receptionist or in a similar healthcare role.
- Previous hospital, clinic, medical center, or healthcare facility experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient registration, appointment management, and medical terminology is required or advantageous as specified.
- Good communication, interpersonal, patient-service, and pressure-handling skills are required.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications are required.
