Role Overview
- We are seeking a passionate and academically driven Civil Engineering Lecturer to join our faculty. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to academic excellence in higher education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in core civil engineering subjects including Structural, Geotechnical, Transportation, Environmental Engineering, and Construction Management.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools.
- Employ interactive and student centered teaching approaches.
- Facilitate laboratory sessions and hands on practical exercises.
- Assess student progress through assignments, examinations, and project work.
- Provide constructive feedback, mentoring, and guidance to students.
- Advise students on internships, research projects, and final year projects.
- Support continuous improvement of course content and teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and course documentation.
- Assist in accreditation processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in academic research and professional development activities.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and academic forums.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of core civil engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools.
