Position Overview
- We are seeking a passionate and experienced academic professional to join our faculty as a Lecturer – Business, Economics, Finance & Accounting, who will also serve as the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Lead.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, contribute to student success, and ensure the effective implementation of academic quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality lectures and facilitate interactive learning sessions in Business, Economics, Finance, and Accounting.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and examinations aligned with curriculum requirements.
- Provide academic mentoring, guidance, and support to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
- Monitor and maintain accurate student attendance, academic records, and assessment documentation.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment that encourages student engagement.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, faculty training, and institutional initiatives.
- Lead Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, awarding body requirements, and quality standards.
- Support academic audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education, vocational education, or relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Sound understanding of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) processes and academic quality standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation abilities.
- A proactive, collaborative, and student focused approach to teaching and academic quality.
- Ability to effectively integrate practical industry knowledge into classroom delivery.
