Job Purpose

Chiropractor

1. Patient Assessment & Diagnosis

• Conduct comprehensive physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations of patients.
• Review patient medical histories, lifestyle factors, and occupational hazards that impact spinal health.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic imaging (such as X-rays or MRIs) to identify structural issues or rule out underlying pathologies.
• Obtain explicit, documented informed consent from patients before beginning any therapeutic interventions.

2. Treatment & Clinical Delivery

• Perform precise manual spinal adjustments, joint manipulation, and soft tissue/fascia therapies.
• Design and execute customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
• Utilize complementary modalities as permitted under UAE scope of practice (e.g., traction therapy, mechanical appliances, and specific sports rehabilitation techniques).
• Recognize critical signs of neurological compromise (e.g., cauda equina syndrome, vertebrobasilar insufficiency) and immediately refer emergency cases to secondary medical care.

3. Patient Education & Integrated Care

• Counsel patients on correct posture, ergonomic setups, targeted exercises, sleep hygiene, and stress management.
• Collaborate actively with an in-house team of physiotherapists, osteopaths, and orthopedic specialists to ensure a continuous, holistic cycle of care.
• Maintain highly detailed, accurate, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) according to local UAE clinical audit requirements.

Education & Experience

• **Degree:**
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) from an accredited international institution.
• **Experience:**
• A minimum of
• 2 to 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience
• (essential for UAE dataflow and licensing verification).
• Experience working within an outpatient facility or a sports rehabilitation environment is highly preferred.

Licensing & Compliance

• **Valid UAE License**

Active Eligibility Letter

• from one of the local healthcare bodies:
• **DHA**

(Dubai Health Authority)

• **DOH / HAAD**

Skills & Core Competencies

• Exceptional manual dexterity, physical stamina, and spatial awareness to perform adjustments safely.
• Excellent communication skills with an empathetic, culturally sensitive approach to treating a highly diverse, multicultural expat demographic.
• **Languages:**
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Fluency in Arabic, European, or South Asian languages is viewed as a significant asset.
