Responsibilities
- Monitor ERM performance, analyze results, and update the departmental risk plan to meet risk index targets
- Develop and implement advanced risk management methodologies using market research and international best practices
- Review existing strategies, revise them as needed, and develop new strategies through benchmarking and case studies
- Leverage digitization and artificial intelligence concepts to support public bus operations strategy
- Ensure all departmental activities comply with operational laws, regulations, and approved institutional standards
- Apply green economy governance by monitoring environmental sustainability initiatives
- Coordinate internal and external audits, oversee audit report preparation, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Ensure implementation of the safety and environmental management system (RSEMS) and verify compliance
- Conduct electronic audits based on asset management and ISO standards
- Monitor and manage large databases to conduct data analysis and generate strategic insights
- Periodically analyze bus service delivery processes and develop procedures to improve efficiency
- Conduct routine field visits to buses and facilities to ensure compliance with service quality standards

- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Risk Management
- 9+ years in case of Master's degree (11+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree)

Job Purpose
- Lead strategic risk management, operational governance, sustainability oversight, data driven analysis, and compliance monitoring to strengthen public bus operations, enhance service excellence, and ensure alignment with institutional standards, safety frameworks, and approved departmental strategie
Roles & Accountabilities
- Monitor ERM performance, analyze results, and update the departmental risk plan to meet risk index targets.
- Develop and implement advanced risk management methodologies using market research and international best practices.
- Review existing strategies, revise them as needed, and develop new strategies through benchmarking and case studies.
- Leverage digitization and artificial intelligence concepts to support and advance the public bus operations strategy.
- Ensure all departmental activities comply with operational laws, regulations, and approved institutional standards.
- Apply green economy governance by monitoring environmental sustainability initiatives and ensuring alignment with green economy strategies and RTA standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, oversee audit report preparation, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure implementation of the safety and environmental management system (RSEMS) and verify compliance with safety and sustainability goals.
- Conduct electronic audits (e audit) based on asset management and ISO standards to drive compliance and operational efficiency.
- Follow up on recommendations issued by the Public Transport Safety Committee and public health authorities.
- Monitor and manage large databases to conduct data analysis and generate strategic insights for improving operational decisions.
- Periodically analyze bus service delivery processes and develop procedures to improve efficiency and performance.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Risk Management.
- 9+ years in case of Master's degree (11+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree).
- Required Nationality: UAE National Only.
Physical Working Conditions
- Conduct occasional on site field visits to buses, facilities, and operational areas as part of compliance and service quality verification.
