About the Role
PayTech Group is seeking a Chief of Staff for a 6-12 month contract in Riyadh to serve as a strategic advisor and execution partner to senior leadership. - Support regional leadership in defining, prioritizing, and executing strategic initiatives

- Coordinate complex projects across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Technology teams
- Facilitate collaboration with financial institutions, fintechs, regulators, government agencies, and strategic partners
- Prepare executive briefings, business cases, strategic recommendations, and performance insights
Requirements
- Extensive experience supporting senior executives in strategic planning and business operations
- Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem
- Proven track record managing complex, cross functional programs
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Previous experience in Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions or FinTech
- Regional experience in a fast paced matrix organization
- Excellent communication skills in English

Purpose of the project
- As the Chief of Staff, you will serve as a strategic advisor and execution partner to senior leadership.
- You will coordinate cross functional initiatives spanning payments, digital transformation, partnerships, and market development.
- The role involves managing executive governance, business planning, performance tracking, stakeholder engagement, and executive communications.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Support regional leadership in defining, prioritizing, and executing strategic initiatives.
- Drive business reviews, leadership meetings, KPI tracking, and operational governance processes.
- Coordinate complex projects across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Technology teams.
- Facilitate collaboration with financial institutions, fintechs, regulators, government agencies, and strategic partners.
- Prepare executive briefings, business cases, strategic recommendations, and performance insights.
Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience supporting senior executives in strategic planning, business operations, performance management, and execution of corporate priorities.
- Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including card payments, digital commerce, fintech, banking, payment acceptance, acquiring, and emerging payment technologies.
- Proven track record managing complex, cross functional programs and strategic initiatives across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience developing business cases, tracking KPIs, synthesizing insights, and providing recommendations.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions or the FinTech industry.
- Regional experience, including working in a fast paced matrix organisation.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); fluency in Arabic is nice to have.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data driven decisions.
- Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.
- An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
