Reporting directly to the CEO, the role acts as a trusted adviser to the Board and executive leadership, balancing legal risk with commercial ambition across diverse jurisdictions.

Description
Act as principal legal adviser to the CEO and BoardLead global legal, governance and compliance strategyOversee corporate governance, board processes and secretariat mattersLead compliance programmes covering anti-corruption, ESG, trade and data privacyProvide legal leadership on major commercial contracts and global transactionsManage litigation strategy and external counsel relationshipsBuild and lead a lean, high-performing global legal function
Profile
Senior in-house legal leadership experience in a global organisationExperience within industrial, manufacturing, mining or asset‑heavy sectorsProven credibility operating at Board and executive levelStrong grounding in corporate and commercial lawTrack record managing legal risk across multiple jurisdictionsCommercial, pragmatic and hands-on leadership style
