Role Overview
Lead a growing FinTech business focused on merchant acquiring, payment acceptance, and financial technology.
The role combines product, commercial, regulatory, operational, and senior leadership responsibilities.
The CEO will work with merchants, banks, acquirers, PSPs, fintechs, regulators, investors, and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute business strategy, vision, and growth plans across target markets.
- Lead the senior management team and build an accountable, collaborative leadership culture.
- Own commercial strategy, revenue growth, strategic relationships, and enterprise negotiations.
- Lead product strategy, roadmap, development, launch, and scale.
- Oversee regulatory and compliance strategy and maintain relationships with regulators and financial institutions.
- Lead MEA expansion and identify partnerships and revenue opportunities.
- Establish KPIs across revenue, transactions, profitability, product performance, merchant acquisition, and retention.
- Align Product, Sales, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance functions.
What We're Looking For
- At least 15 years of senior experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, Merchant Acquiring, PSP, or related financial technology is required.
- Deep merchant acquiring or payment acceptance expertise is required.
- Strong Product Management, Product Strategy, or Product Leadership experience is required.
- Strong understanding of the full payments ecosystem and relevant regulatory frameworks is required.
- Experience with regulators, banks, acquirers, PSPs, financial institutions, commercial partnerships, and enterprise relationships is required.
- Strong MEA payments network and senior cross-functional leadership experience are required.
- Arabic or French language capability is a plus.
- The role requires extensive travel across the region.
