Responsibilities
- Support PLM with strategic planning process for the product line
- Profit and loss accountability for the CYME Software offering to meet revenue and margin objectives
- Understand market trends and competitive landscape
- Provide strategic marketing direction for new features and module development
- Collaborate with other product managers and product lines to create marketing solutions
- Provide leadership and drive global alignment for product development and marketing initiatives
- Be voice of the customer and set expectations with division functions and sales/channel organizations
- Report financial results and forecasts to key stakeholders
- Serve as offering spokesperson in key customer interactions
- Work with engineering on new product development and product upgrades
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- Strong technical background related to CYME Power Engineering Software
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management, technical sales or marketing, or engineering
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including international
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
- Experience as a distribution planner within a utility company (preferred)
- Experience in providing sales/field support and customer/industry presentations (preferred)
- Experience writing user stories, functional specifications, and presenting product roadmaps (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work within Agile frameworks (preferred)
- Knowledge of software development practices and processes (preferred)

What You’ll Do
- Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Systems and Services Division is seeking a Product Manager – CYME Software.
- This position is open to candidates anywhere in Canada with option to work fully remotely or hybrid from Brossard, Quebec.

Essential Responsibilities
- Support PLM with strategic planning process for the product line
- Profit and loss accountability for the CYME Software offering
- Understand market trends and competitive landscape
- Provide strategic marketing direction for new features/module development
- Collaborate with other product managers and product lines
- Provide leadership and drive global alignment
- Be voice of the customer and set expectations
- Report financial results and forecasts
- Serve as offering spokesperson in key customer interactions
- Work with engineering on new product development and upgrades
- Work closely with proposal manager, PMO, and engineering on RFXs
- Work with sales, channels, and major accounts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Strong technical background related to CYME Power Engineering Software
- Minimum of five years of experience in product management, technical sales, marketing, or engineering
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including international
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a distribution planner within a utility company

- Experience leading face to face meetings with customers
- Ability to identify use cases and develop marketing requirements
- Experience writing user stories, functional specifications, and presenting product roadmaps
- Ability to synthesize complex information into effective presentations
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within Agile frameworks
- Knowledge of software development practices and processes
Salary Range
- Expected annual salary range: CAD 106,000 CAD 150,000
- Salaries based on skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations
