About the Role
Eaton is seeking a Product Manager for CYME Software to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of power system analysis applications. The role involves capturing customer voice, defining product roadmaps, launching new offerings, and collaborating with sales and engineering.

Responsibilities
- Support PLM with strategic planning process for the product line, including alignment with sales, engineering, finance and operations
- Profit and loss accountability for the CYME Software offering to meet revenue and margin objectives
- Understand market trends and competitive landscape while maintaining comprehensive understanding of product applications
- Provide strategic marketing direction for new features and/or module development informed by customers’ needs and competitors’ positioning
- Collaborate with other product managers, product lines and/or companies to create marketing solutions and synergies
- Provide leadership and drive for results of global alignment for product development, marketing initiatives, regional requirements
- Be a voice of the customer and set appropriate expectations, goal weightings and targets with division functions and sales/channel organizations
- Report financial results and forecasts to key stakeholders
- Serve as the offering spokesperson in key customer interactions and negotiations
- Work in conjunction with engineering on new product development and product upgrades
- Work closely with proposal manager, PMO and engineering teams to develop proposals in the context of RFXs
- Work closely with sales, channels and major accounts and ensure expertise on go to market strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- Strong technical background related to CYME Power Engineering Software
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management, technical sales or marketing, or engineering
- Must be able to travel up to 20%, including international
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship

Essential Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong technical background related to CYME Power Engineering Software.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management, technical sales or marketing, or engineering.
- Must be able to travel up to 20%, some international.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a distribution planner within a utility company.
- Experience in providing sales/field support and customer/industry presentations.
- Experience in leading face to face meetings with customers.
- Ability to identify use cases and develop marketing requirements.
- Experience writing user stories, functional specifications, and presenting product roadmaps.
- Ability to synthesize disparate and complex information into effective presentations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within Agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of software development practices and processes.
Compensation
- The expected annual salary range for this role is CAD 106,000 CAD 133,000 a year.
- Total compensation may be adjusted upward for candidates with significant experience or rare skill sets.
