Job Overview
- We're hiring a Chartered Civil Engineer to join a large, national engineering design firm.
- You will work on marine engineering projects, transforming ports and marine infrastructure to deliver offshore renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake the design and structural assessment of marine infrastructure.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Review designs and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant standards, best practices, contractual requirements, and client expectations.
- Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations, including CDM requirements.
- Demonstrate an understanding of construction contracts and professional appointments.
- Use relevant engineering analysis and design software, including AutoCAD.
- Attend and contribute to design reviews, site meetings, and site inspections.
- Deliver work in line with agreed project budgets and programme deadlines.
- Support business operations by preparing and managing technical documentation.
About You
- Minimum of 3 years' post graduate experience in civil or marine engineering.
- Degree qualified (Bachelor's or Master's) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
