Responsibilities
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
- Meet or exceed personal sales solicitation call goals based on a minimum of 5 daily appointments
- Respond to emails and correspondence, input and maintain databases
- Maintain a high profile within trade and professional associates
- Solicit corporate, consortia and leisure accounts directly and jointly with others
- Implement all Sales Action Plans related to their sales area
- Quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives, confirm reservations by letter and draw up contracts
- Manage contracted accounts and set production targets on a quarterly basis
- Achieve established room night and revenue goals
- Attend major travel functions (trade shows, associations) when appropriate
- Plan sales trips to major marketing areas
- Compile and input market intelligence information
Requirements
- Experience in hotel sales, catering, or conference services
- Ability to meet sales solicitation call goals (minimum 5 daily appointments)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to quote and negotiate prices and draw up contracts
- Knowledge of market trends and competition

Job Description
- Under the general guidelines of the Director of CCS, the CCS Manager solicits transient and group business.
- Enables Mondrian Doha to meet/exceed set revenue goals in rooms, events, meetings, conferences and food and beverage.
- Primary function is to book business from prospecting and solicitation efforts and respond to inquiries.
How your day looks like
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
- Meet or exceed personal sales solicitation call goals based on a minimum of 5 daily appointments.
- Responsible for administration of all support services including responding to emails and correspondence, input and maintenance of databases.
- Maintains a high profile within trade and professional associates.
- Interacts with individuals outside the hotel within their sales area.
- Solicit corporate, consortia and leisure accounts directly and jointly with others.
- Implements all Sales Action Plans related to their sales area.
- Quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives, confirm reservations by letter and draw up contracts.
- Upon contracting accounts, responsible for ongoing account management and setting production targets.
- Achieve established room night and revenue goals.
- Attend major travel functions (trade shows, associations) when appropriate.
- Plans sales trips to major marketing areas.
