Role Overview
- As a Category Manager, you'll be responsible for driving our strategies on assortment by defining our selection by store.
- Working with other teams on sourcing, pricing and promotions across our markets for categories.
- We're looking for someone with solid experience in procuring and managing the entire supply chain of products.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead the product line for Careem Groceries.
- Design the go to market strategy.
- Work with the team on maintaining the selection strategy in alignment with the overall department & business strategy.
- Identify and sourcing key consumer trends in online grocery /Q commerce business.
- Source & negotiate the required selection with the best prices, quality and minimum MOQ.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure the success of the launched campaigns.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure stock availability and smooth onboarding.
- Collaborate with the pricing team in sourcing competitive prices.
- Work closely with the supplier and maintain the relationship through business reviews and growth planning.
- Work with the category assistant to ensure hygiene of item content and maintain right visibility on the App.
