Role Overview
Drive culinary category performance and develop commercially successful food products.
Own product development, launch readiness, commercial storytelling, product demonstration, brand presentation, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze revenue, volume, margin, and SKU productivity to drive category performance.
- Lead renovation, pricing, optimization, and delisting decisions.
- Create sales propositions and pitch materials for Retail, Hospitality, and Foodservice.
- Own the product journey from concept to first customer sale.
- Coordinate R&D, Procurement, Production, Packaging, and Regulatory teams for launch readiness.
- Lead internal tastings and customer demonstrations with chefs and Sales.
- Identify trends, customer needs, and category white spaces for product innovation.
- Develop packaging, photography, and digital assets with creative partners.
- Manage customer feedback and engagement with Sales, Customer Service, QA, and Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Culinary Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of Category Management, Product or Brand Management, NPD, or commercial experience in F&B, FMCG, or food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of NPD, food production, and food safety fundamentals.
- Proven record of taking products from concept through development to commercial launch.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, presentations, and project-tracking tools.
- Ability to turn data and insights into commercial actions and recommendations.
- Ability to manage creative, design, photography, and packaging outputs.
