Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Category Manager on Product Line Review and final product selection
- Coordinate pricing with Canadian Price Management Team
- Monitor competition to ensure market positioning and increase shares
- Work with Supply Chain on sales plans and merchandising/promotional plans
- Generate and analyze data on item performance and provide recommendations
- Review blueprints and planograms for accuracy and recommend adjustments
- Collaborate with Marketing on flyer items, proofing, images, signage, and brochures
- Participate in supplier negotiations for weekly promotions
- Manage issues from store personnel regarding vendor product concerns
- Participate in other related tasks to ensure smooth department operation
Requirements
- Any combination of relevant education and professional experience
- Experience in retail considered a great asset
- Good computer and technology skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
- Good negotiation skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Ability to interface effectively with management at all levels
- Excellent time management/organization skill
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Your Role
- Collaborate with the Category Manager on the Product Line Review (PLR) and final product selection.
- Coordinate all levels of pricing with the Canadian Price Management Team.
- Monitor the competition to ensure good market positioning and increase shares.
- Work closely with Supply Chain on sales plans and merchandising/promotional plans.
- Generate and analyze data on assigned item performance and provide recommendations.
- Review blueprints and planograms for accuracy and recommend adjustments.
- Collaborate with Marketing on flyer item submission, proofing, images, signage, and brochures.
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers for weekly promotions.
- Work cross functionally with teams on promotional emails, supplier pages, and content.
- Manage issues from store personnel regarding vendor product concerns.
