Responsibilities
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions for motorbike sales, parts, and service-related purchases.
- Greet customers and assist with queries to provide an efficient and friendly service experience.
- Maintain accurate cash register records, daily sales reports, and receipt documentation.
- Process customer returns and exchanges in line with company policies and required approvals.
- Safeguard cash and other payment methods and record transactions accurately.
- Reconcile payments at the close of each shift.
- Keep the cashier area tidy and organized.
Must-have requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining records.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics for handling and reconciling cash and payments.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and established cash-handling procedures.
- Graduate or equivalent education is required.
- At least two years of experience as a cashier or in customer service, ideally in retail or automotive, is required.
- Relevant certifications in cash handling or customer service are welcomed.
