The employer is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant.
The role supports the Deputy Finance Manager with day-to-day accounting operations.
The position is part of the Advanced Travel and Tourism team in Dubai and is explicitly onsite.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support reporting of expense reimbursements.
- Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Perform accounting and administrative duties as assigned, including cash and cheque bank deposits and collections.
