Position Overview
The employer is seeking a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to support a smooth guest experience during payment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests at the cashier counter and handle cash, card, and digital payments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change, and operate the POS system accurately.
- Maintain daily transaction records and keep the cash counter clean and organized.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and management to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Respond to basic payment-related inquiries and assist with customer concerns.
- Support end-of-shift cash reconciliation and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous cashier or customer-facing experience is required; food and beverage or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting procedures is required.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- The candidate must work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Fluency in English is required, along with a professional, reliable, and well-presented manner.
