The Captain Waiter ensures smooth dining-area operations by supervising waitstaff, maintaining service standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
The role oversees daily service, handles guest concerns, trains junior staff, and coordinates with kitchen and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and ensure excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Supervise and support waiters and junior staff during service.
- Ensure tables are properly set up and the dining area is clean and presentable.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen team.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train and mentor new team members and assist with staff scheduling as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and special promotions.
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a hotel or luxury restaurant is preferred.
- Arabic language ability is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay starts at QAR 2,000 per month.
Workplace
- The role is performed in person in Doha.
