Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role at a car wash machine factory on Lagos Mainland.
The cashier handles customer payments, issues receipts, records transactions, and supports a professional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments.
- Reconcile cash and electronic payments at the end of each shift.
- Maintain organized transaction records for auditing and reporting.
- Respond to customer inquiries about services and pricing.
- Coordinate with the service team on completed jobs.
- Escalate discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Follow established financial procedures, company policies, and factory safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong cash-handling skills, accurate money counting, and daily balance reconciliation are required.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, basic computer use, and common office software is required.
- Customer service and communication skills are required.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity are expected when managing transactions and records.
- Applicants must be able to work on-site in Lagos Mainland, stand for extended periods, and perform routine tasks efficiently.
- Basic numeracy and literacy and secondary school education or equivalent are required.
